Adam Miller is a Los Angeles based editor who has worked in film, television and digital media over the past decade.  His work can be seen on HBO, Showtime,  Apple Music, Fox Sports, Vice, E!, BET, and various other networks and platforms.   Adam has also worked on branded content and advertisements for Delta, Samsung, Old Spice, Converse, Citizens of Humanity, and others.


Adam began his career working heavily in hip hop documentaries with filmmakers Quincy D. Jones III, Peter Spirer, and Jared Freedman.  He then assisted on Adam Bhala Lough’s award winning Lil Wayne documentary, The Carter, produced by Quincy D. Jones III and Jared Freedman, the film was a verite look at rap superstar Lil Wayne’s life at the time of the release of his 6th studio album.  Following his work on The Carter he went on to edit and co-write Peter Spirer’s(Rhyme & Reason) Notorious B.I.G. documentary, Notorious B.I.G. : Bigger Than Life.

Continuing to work in the documentary world Adam worked as an assistant editor on HBO and Peter Berg and Emmett and Brendan Malloy’s docu-series following the life of famed boxing trainer Freddie Roach, On: Freddie Roach.  He then assisted on HBO and Brett Morgen’s(Cobain: Montage of Heck) Rolling Stones documentary, Crossfire Hurricane, produced by Academy Award winner Morgan Neville the film was an introspective look at the Rolling Stones entire career.


After editing various branded pieces and television shows, Adam got the opportunity to edit Showtime and Antoine Fuqua’s (Training Day, Magnificent Seven) Suge Knight documentary American Dream / American Knightmare.  Produced by Bradley J. Fischer (Black Swan, Zodiac) and Eva Gunz, the film is a look at former music mogul Suge Knight’s life through his eyes in candid interviews with director Antoine Fuqua. Since then he has continued his work in documentaries, with a focus on musicians, athletes, and social issues.

Adam’s strengths lie in storytelling, character development, and always helping the director and producer reach the best version of their vision.
